Suspect Arrested in Mississippi Trail Ride Shooting Investigation
Malik Javonta Vardaman, 27, of Robinsonville, Mississippi, was arrested Saturday in connection with a shooting that occurred during a trail ride in Dundee, Mississippi, according to the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office.
Vardaman was taken into custody on April 11, 2026, following arrest warrants issued on April 6 on charges of aggravated assault and discharging a firearm, the sheriff’s office said.
The incident happened on March 28 at a trail ride hosted by Muddy River Delta Farm on Dubbs Road. Authorities continue to investigate the shooting, and no additional details have been released.
