Strong Winds Expected in ArkLaMiss Delta as Cold Front Passes

Strong winds are forecast to move southward through the ArkLaMiss Delta behind a cold front later today and into tonight, according to the National Weather Service in Jackson, Mississippi.

The area has medium to high probabilities of experiencing wind gusts greater than 40 mph, officials said.

Forecasters also warn that significant fire weather conditions are likely on Saturday, emphasizing caution in fire-prone areas.
