Panola E-911 Dispatcher Nolan Long Named Employee of the Month

Nolan Long has been named Panola County E-911 Dispatcher of the Month, according to the Panola County Sheriff’s Office. The award was sponsored by Logan Stables.

Dispatch Supervisor Audra Lott praised Long for his efforts during a challenging week marked by an ice storm. She said Long went above and beyond his duties, not only answering calls but also assisting coworkers with tasks such as transportation and providing food.

Lott added that Long even stepped in to handle unexpected technical support, exemplifying teamwork and selflessness. She expressed appreciation for his dedication, noting that his love for his coworkers and the community does not go unnoticed.

Long’s commitment during the storm earned him recognition as Dispatcher of the Month, highlighting his important role in maintaining public safety during emergencies.
