Mississippi Wildlife Dive Team Completes Certification, Training at GRIT

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks’ Law Enforcement Special Response Team (SRT) Dive Team spent a day last week at GRIT Training to enhance their skills. The team completed their full face mask certification and participated in several dive scenarios.

GRIT Training provided the facilities and support for the training session, according to department officials. The training helps ensure the team is prepared for real-world situations.

MDWFP’s SRT conducts ongoing training throughout the year to maintain readiness for various field challenges, the department said.
