Mississippi State Lakes set new fishing record at Simpson County Lake

Mississippi State Lakes continue to break records, according to the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.

Don Barnes caught a 2.25-pound crappie at Simpson County Lake, setting a new lake record. The department congratulated Barnes on his achievement.
