Mississippi Outdoors Podcast Features Hunter Farrior’s Turkey Hunting Journey

Hunter Farrior, founder of Spring Legion Turkey Hunting, joined the latest episode of the Mississippi Outdoors Podcast to share his journey into turkey hunting. Farrior began his venture in 2019 from a trailer in Learned, Mississippi, with no internet, no warehouse, and no clear plan, according to the podcast.

He recounted how he accidentally published his first book during quarantine and sold his first hat before knowing how to ship it. Farrior also described a humorous incident involving an 18-wheeler dropping pallets at his residential address.

Farrior discussed what distinguishes turkey hunters from others and emphasized the importance of woodsmanship. He also revealed why he hunted the same turkey 83 times.
