Mississippi hunters have until Saturday to buy Pelahatchie Bay alligator permits

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP) reminds hunters that those selected for the Pelahatchie Bay Alligator Season have until noon Saturday to purchase the required permits.

This season features several changes from previous public water alligator seasons, according to MDWFP. Hunters are encouraged to review the updated regulations and information through the department’s website.
