Mississippi educators serve as judges at state art competition
Two faculty members from Mississippi Delta Community College’s Fine Arts Department recently contributed to a statewide event. Jennifer Woodard, department chair and art instructor, and Heather Williams, art instructor, served as judges for the Mid-South Association of Independent Schools State Art Competition.
The competition showcased student artwork from K-12 students across Mississippi. According to sources, the faculty members’ expertise helped evaluate and recognize outstanding creativity among participants.
