Mississippi Department of Wildlife Offers Prescribed Fire Workshop in Tate County

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks is reminding interested participants to register for an upcoming prescribed fire workshop in Tate County. The event is scheduled for March 6, 2026, at 2600 Jason Patrick Road in Holly Springs.

The workshop is designed for private landowners and managers interested in using prescribed fire to improve wildlife habitat and manage timber. It will feature hands-on demonstrations and expert fire practitioners available to answer questions, according to MDWFP.
