Mississippi Delta Community College graduates receive job offers in construction training program

Graduates of the NCCER Core Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Training Program at Mississippi Delta Community College have received job offers from The Industrial Company, officials announced.

The program’s first two cohorts completed the four-week training at the college’s Capps Technology Center on the Greenville Campus. All graduates received job offers from TIC, demonstrating the program’s success and the collaboration of regional partners.

Support from Accelerate MS, the South Delta Planning and Development District, the Greenville WIN Job Center, TIC, the Washington County Economic Alliance, the Mississippi Department of Employment Security, and college faculty made the program possible, officials said. These partnerships aim to create pathways to careers and bolster the workforce in the Mississippi Delta.
