MDCC campuses closed in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.

All Mississippi Delta Community College campuses are closed Monday in recognition of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, according to college officials.

The college is observing the holiday to honor King’s life and legacy. Classes will resume, and offices will reopen on Jan. 20.

MDCC encourages students and staff to reflect on the contributions of the civil rights leader during the day off, the college said.
