Man shot during domestic dispute at Greenville apartment

Greenville police responded to a report of a shooting at 738 West Union, inside the Riverwalk Apartments, on Tuesday, February 17th.

When officers arrived, they found a female resident who said a male victim was in the bathroom with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Delta Health System for treatment, but specific details about the shooting remain under investigation, according to authorities.

Investigators have charged 28-year-old Larineisha Askew of Greenville with one count of domestic aggravated assault. Askew is awaiting her initial court appearance, police said. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty, officials added.
