Hinds County deputies teach second graders gun safety at Gary Road Elementary

Hinds County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers visited Gary Road Elementary School last week to conduct a gun safety awareness event for second-grade students.

The officers engaged students in a program titled “Gun Safety with Eddie Eagle,” aiming to educate them on how to stay safe around firearms.
