Greenville Youth Council Participates in Statewide Leadership Summit

The Greenville Mayor’s Youth Council attended the Mississippi Municipal League Statewide Youth Leadership Summit, according to a city news release.

The two-day event brought together city officials and youth leaders from across Mississippi to exchange ideas, address issues important to young people, and showcase the positive contributions of youth councils.

Participants from Greenville engaged in meaningful discussions, formed new connections, and learned strategies to strengthen youth leadership efforts locally, the release said.

The city expressed pride in the students’ representation and noted that the future of Greenville’s youth leadership is promising. The event aimed to inspire continued growth in youth engagement and civic involvement, officials added.
