Greenville police arrested a woman in connection with a shooting Monday inside a Domino’s Pizza restaurant on Highway 1 South.
The incident occurred Tuesday, March 10, when officers responded to reports of gunfire at the business. Authorities spoke with a victim, who is also an employee, and said he was involved in an altercation with the suspect before she pulled out a handgun and shot him in the thigh.
The victim received treatment at Delta Health System and was later released. The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Ashley McCray of Greenville, fled the scene in a black sedan.
On Wednesday, McCray voluntarily surrendered to Greenville police. She is currently in custody at the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility on a $40,000 bond.
