Greenville mayor thanks community for input on late-night business ordinance

Mayor Errick D. Simmons and the Greenville City Council thanked residents, healthcare professionals, business owners, and law enforcement officials for their participation in a recent community meeting and public hearing.

The meeting focused on a proposed ordinance that would require businesses to close at 1 a.m. Simmons described the discussion as productive, respectful, and insightful.
