Greenville Continues Black History Month Facts Series
The city of Greenville is celebrating Black History Month with a series of facts highlighting influential leaders, trailblazers, and pivotal moments that have shaped the nation, the world, and the local community.
Mayor Errick D. Simmons emphasized the importance of the observance, stating, “Black History is American History. Black History is World History. It belongs to all of us, and everyone should join in the celebration.”
Throughout the month, Greenville officials and residents are invited to learn about and honor Black achievements and resilience. The city encourages participation in recognizing the enduring legacy of Black excellence.
