Greenville Committee Advances Animal Welfare Ordinance

The City of Greenville held its latest Charter & Ordinance Committee meeting Tuesday afternoon, focusing on a proposed spay and neuter ordinance aimed at animal welfare.

The meeting allowed for public input and discussion as the committee works toward responsible solutions for pet population control. The ordinance will now be considered by the full City Council, according to city officials.

Mayor Errick D. Simmons expressed appreciation for community participation, stating, “We thank everyone who participated and shared their perspectives throughout this process.”
