Fog Expected to Reduce Visibility in Mississippi Overnight

Forecasters with the National Weather Service in Jackson, Mississippi, predict fog will develop late tonight into early Tuesday morning. The fog could be patchy across central and eastern parts of the state.

Areas of fog are likely to reduce visibility to a quarter-mile or less in southeastern Mississippi. Drivers are advised to use low beam headlights, increase following distances, and expect longer travel times.

Travel conditions may be hazardous, and motorists should exercise caution until the fog clears.
