FEMA Offers Assistance to Mississippi Residents Affected by Winter Storm
FEMA has approved individual assistance for Leflore County and 35 other counties in Mississippi following severe winter weather from Jan. 23 to 27, according to the agency.
Eligible residents may receive grants for home repairs, low-cost loans for uninsured property losses, and other recovery programs. Those affected are encouraged to apply promptly.
Applications can be submitted online at www.DisasterAssistance.gov, by phone at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362), or via TTY at 1-800-462-7585 for hearing and speech impairments. The disaster declaration number is DR-4899.
