Driver fleeing from deputies crashes into patrol cars at Yazoo correctional facility

Deputies in Yazoo County responded to a report early Monday morning after a white car failed to pay for a tire change in Madison County. The tow truck driver contacted Yazoo dispatch after the vehicle left without settling the bill, prompting deputies to locate the car.

Authorities spotted the vehicle crossing into Yazoo County, where deputies attempted to stop it. The driver fled from law enforcement, eventually turning onto the grounds of a local correctional facility.

While fleeing, the driver collided with two patrol vehicles. The collisions disabled her vehicle, and she was taken into custody. Neither the deputies nor the driver were injured, according to officials.
