Delta Bourbon Club to host evening event at Nelson Street

The Delta Bourbon Club will hold an event on Thursday, March 5, at Shogun House, located at 410 Nelson Street. The evening will feature a curated bourbon pour and light appetizers, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., according to organizers.

After the tasting, attendees are invited to continue the evening with dinner at Doe’s Eat Place, with the cost of dinner to be paid individually. Tickets for the bourbon event are $30 each, or $100 for an annual membership, the club said.

Attendees are encouraged to wear a sports coat. The event is open to men aged 21 and older. Proceeds will benefit the Old 1 Firehouse Museum, organizers said.

Organizers said they hope to bring together good bourbon, good people, and support for a local cause. Those interested can reserve a spot by visiting the event link provided by the Delta Chamber of Commerce.
