Delta Bourbon Club hosts fundraiser on Nelson Street

The Delta Bourbon Club is set to hold an event on March 5 at Shogun House, located at 410 Nelson Street. The gathering will feature a curated bourbon pour and light appetizers, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., according to organizers.

Following the tasting, attendees are encouraged to continue the evening with dinner at Doe’s Eat Place, with costs for dinner being Dutch treat. Tickets for the event are $30, or $100 for an annual membership, and attendees are asked to wear a sports coat. The event is open to men aged 21 and older.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Old 1 Firehouse Museum, organizers said. The event aims to bring together bourbon enthusiasts and community members to support local history. Reservations can be made through the chamber’s website.
