Delta Bourbon Club hosts fundraiser at Nelson Street

The Delta Bourbon Club is hosting an event Thursday at Shogun House, located at 410 Nelson Street, to benefit the Old 1 Firehouse Museum.

The gathering runs from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and features a curated bourbon pour and light appetizers. Attendees are encouraged to continue the evening with dinner at Doe’s Eat Place, with costs for dinner being Dutch treat.

Tickets are $30 each, or $100 for an annual membership, and the event is open to men aged 21 and older wearing sports coats, according to organizers. Proceeds will support local history through the museum.

Participants can reserve their spot online through the chamber’s website. The event promises good bourbon, good company, and a good cause, organizers said.
