Delta Bourbon Club hosts charity event on Nelson Street

The Delta Bourbon Club will host an event Thursday evening on Nelson Street to support the Old 1 Firehouse Museum. The gathering will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Shogun House, located at 410 Nelson Street.

The event features a curated bourbon pour and light appetizers. Attendees can also choose to continue the evening with dinner at Doe’s Eat Place, which is Dutch treat. Tickets are $30 each or $100 for an annual membership, according to organizers.

Dress code is business casual, with attendees encouraged to wear a sports coat. The event is open to men 21 and older. Proceeds benefit the historic firehouse museum, which celebrates local history, officials said.

Organizers invite the public to reserve a spot by visiting the event website. The event aims to combine good bourbon, community spirit, and philanthropy in one evening.
