Cold front brings colder, drier air to the region
Colder and drier air will move into the region today following a cold front, according to the National Weather Service.
There is a chance of lingering showers over the far southeastern parts of the area. Temperatures are expected to rise slowly, reaching the upper 40s to mid-50s.
Forecasters advise residents to prepare for cooler conditions, especially in the southeastern zones where showers may persist.
