Cloudy, drizzly start to the day across the region

Most of the region is beginning the day with a mostly cloudy sky and light rain, according to local weather reports.

Cloud cover is expected to linger in some areas throughout the day, delaying clearing in parts of the region.

High temperatures will vary from the mid-60s where clouds are more persistent to the low 70s in clearer areas, the National Weather Service said.

Residents are advised to carry an umbrella and plan for potentially slow clearing conditions as the day progresses.
