Cleveland urges community to donate peanut butter ahead of food drive deadline

Cleveland officials are reminding residents to donate jars of peanut butter for the March of the Mayors food drive. The deadline to drop off donations is this Friday, February 27.

Donations can be made at several locations, including City Hall, the Cleveland Police Department, the Train Museum, the Grammy Museum, the Cleveland Library, and the Cleveland Chamber, according to organizers.

A packing party is scheduled for Monday, March 2, at 9 a.m., to prepare the donations for distribution. The event is part of ongoing efforts to combat hunger in the community, officials said.

Community members are encouraged to contribute 16-ounce jars of peanut butter to support local food assistance programs, Cleveland said.
