Cleveland Parks and Recreation Opens Registration for Youth Sports

Cleveland Parks and Recreation has opened registration for its youth sports programs at Clevelandparksandrec.com. The deadline to sign up is March 1.

Practices and drafts will start the week of March 2. Games are scheduled to be played on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with a potential start date of April 6. The season is set to end by May 14.

The department has announced dates for All Stars Tournaments. The state tournament will take place June 11-14, followed by the World Series from June 25-29.

Changes are coming for the 4 and Under division, which will remain coed. This age group will now feature more competitive play, including counting runs and outs, according to officials.
