Cervical Cancer Awareness Event Offers Chair Exercises in Greenville
Greenville, Miss. — A cervical cancer awareness event is scheduled for Jan. 21 at the Buster Brown Community Center, aimed at promoting women’s health through fitness and education.
The event will feature chair exercises suitable for all fitness levels, along with informative sessions about cervical cancer prevention. The activities are designed to encourage movement and awareness among community members.
Dr. Brent Smith will serve as the guest speaker, according to organizers. The event is hosted in partnership with the city of Greenville, Greenville Parks & Recreation, the Mayor’s Health Council, and the MS Delta Family Residency Clinic.
The program runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a friend and take steps toward better health and awareness, organizers said.
