Mississippi officials thank hunters for their role in conservation and outdoor recreation during the recent deer season.

Mississippi is accepting applications for conservation officer positions aimed at protecting wildlife and natural resources across the state. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by March 17, 2026.

The office will be closed on Presidents’ Day, February 16, 2026. Residents can still purchase hunting and fishing licenses online or by phone.
